UnReal World 3.30で最後のKaumolainenチャレンジをプレイ

Ultimate Laststand Challenge
こちらのスレで公開されているのは一風変わったセーブデータ。敵対人種の野営地に二重包囲された状態で始まります。

初期位置はshelterの上。しかし周囲の24マスはすべてNjerpez camp。ワールドマップのculture圏もNjerpezitばかりが広がる。

フォーラムのスレからストーリーを引用すると、
The end has come, Njerpezit take over the world. They slaughter and burn down every villages and settlements and replace with their war camps. Kaumolaiset had a long war with njerpezit and they struggle till the end. You are the last survivor of Kaumos, the last defender of this land. Maybe there are others survive in the wild, but njerpez had already surrounded your camp. Will this be your end, or youwill be able to revenge and cleanse the land?

この状態からどうやって生存を試みよう……？　まずはこの包囲網から脱したい。北に300m移動することを第一の目標にしてみる（画面では上方向がnorthに相当）。

行動の前にプレイヤーキャラの能力を確認。すべてが高水準。体重は136kgだから着込み重量13.6kg以下まではペナルティなし。

続いては装備品。重装甲です。ほとんどの部位がsuperior protectionの評価。このままrunに切り替えると最大スピードは10km/h。

Late night

キャラの操作を開始。初期位置からは一切動かず36時間を経過させてみた。Njerpez兵には眠ってもらいたい。シェルターにzoomする前に。

3.30のchangelogから時刻の表記についての部分をコピペすると、

shelterにenter。ミニ陣地が現れた。水堀とfenceで防御がなされた3x3のシェルター。足元には小麦パン（wheat bread）と複数の武器。

早速飢えと渇きを癒した。パンの総量は150ポンド（約68kg）。これだけで体調を維持できるのは30日間ほど？　篭城を仮定すれば（立て篭もった場合のスクショ例）。

Midnight

シェルターから発つことにする。waterを泳いでからフェンスをclimbして脱出。Early Aprilの水は冷たく体温はbitterly coldまで低下した。

柵のすぐ近までhumanの足跡が残っていた。

fenceからは20mほど歩いた。ここからはhideに切り替えて移動。なるだけ足音を立てたくない。ただしspeedは2km/hまで落ちる。

しかしこれでも「You fail to sneak unnoticeably.」が。hideに失敗して騒音が出る。carryingと体重が大きいと隠密には不向き。やむなく8 wheat breadsをドロップ。食料はたくさん持ち出したかったけども。

今の所持武器はこの3つ。
・ball & chain: 重防具Njerpez兵との対峙を想定。片手握りでもペナルティのない武器。
・roundshield: 弓装備Njerpez兵からの逃走を想定。戦闘が避けられないならball & chainと一緒に使う。
・hunting bow: Njerpez兵の足止め用に。

shelterから80m以上歩いた？　Njerpez campの中へ。3人のNjerpez warriorが見えた。起きてるNjerpez兵が少ないルートを探したい。少しだけ引き返すつもり。

しかしここで「You fail to sneak unnoticeably.」。Njerpez warriorが調べに来て見つかってしまった！　bastard swordを装備してこちらに走ってくる！！

bastard sworldはtwo-handed武器。Unreal World Wikiから性能をコピペすると、

runningで逃走してもfatigueの蓄積で追いつかれるはず……　衣類3枚だけのNjerpezウォーリアに対しこちらは金属防具の重ね着……

hunting bowを使ってみる。即死か、昏倒か、移動力低下してくれることを願う。

放った矢の1本がNjerpez warriorのleft shoulderに命中。serious punctureは与えたが結局隣接されてしまった。

そして周囲から一斉に「You hear a swear from the 方角.」。ほかのNjerpez兵たちがこの戦闘に呼応したみたい。これから何人も駆けつけてくる？

Njerpez warriorが2人目、3人目、4人目と驀進してくる。

roundshiledでブロックしながらball & chainで攻撃を試みてるが事態の好転にはほど遠い気が……　どちらも損耗が進んできた。品質はともにcrudeまで劣化。破壊されるのも時間の問題。

何十秒か何分かは戦い続けた。ついにはプレイヤーキャラ死亡。死因はbloodlossの上限到達。

これだけ攻撃されたのに負ったinjuryは-3 %の一度だけ。背後からもらった刺し傷の。包囲突破には失敗したけどキャラの能力の高さと防具の優秀さは発揮された？
